Day 2 Split - Makarska
After breakfast, embark on a morning tour of Split’s Old Town expertly lead by a local guide. Split has evolved from the ruins of the remarkable Diocletian’s Palace, the retirement home of Dalmatian born Emperor Diocletian, to be a bustling hub that is Croatia’s second largest city. See the remnants of Split's Roman heritage; it's Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and many other fascinating, unique sites before departing for the seaside town of Makarska. Enjoy a refreshing swim stop along the way by beautiful Brac island before lunch is served on board. Arrive in Makarska in the afternoon where a private coach transfer will take you to Biokovo Nature Park to experience the magnificent views from the skywalk suspended 1228 metres above sea level. It is said that on sunny, windy days, it is possible to see all the way to Italy from the viewpoint! After your tour return back to Makarska where you will have free time to wander through town and try out one of the many restaurants and taverns serving up some of the freshest seafood around.

Meals included: Breakfast and lunch

Day 3 Makarska - Hvar
Depart Makarska and head for the sunny island of Hvar with a swim stop along the way. Lunch will be served on board before arriving into Hvar Town. A walking tour with a local guide will showcase the city’s rich history, beautiful architecture and important landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. Stephen, Spanish Fortress, and the Hvar Arsenal which houses the oldest public theatre in Europe dating back to 1612. Later on you will have free time to try one of the many restaurants, bars and cafes that line the port and soak in the nightlife.

Day 4 Hvar – Bisevo – Vis
An early start this morning will see you head to the magnificent Bisevo Blue cave to experience this spectacular natural phenomenon. Accessible only by boat, the caves natural underwater entrance allows for sunbeams to penetrate through and reflect off the white cave floor creating a luminous effect of aquamarine and silver light in the waters depths. After, enjoy a swim stop and lunch on board and cruise towards the island of Vis. Once a strategic naval base used by the Yugoslavian army, Vis Island remained closed to the public for many years. The isolation helped preserve the island from development and it therefore has retained a special and authentic charm. If Vis looks and sounds familiar to you these days it could be because the island was used as the setting for Mama Mia 2. Spend the afternoon at leisure and take in the sights and flavours of Vis Town. There are many excellent restaurants and taverns along the promenade where you can enjoy a glass of local wine and try some fresh seafood which the island is known for.
